Phone Consultation and Booking

 

It's really important to choose the right therapist to work with before starting any course of hypnotherapy treatment, as you need to feel comfortable with your therapist and confident in their ability to help you. If a therapist is not a 'good fit' for you, it's unlikely that you'll get an effective result so I recommend that you speak to a few different therapists before making a commitment. Similarly, I only agree to work with clients who I feel I'm able to help so if I don't think I'm the right person for you or your problem, I will let you know and refer you to someone who I feel may be better placed to help you.
 

To this end I offer a free 30 min phone consultation to all prospective clients so we both have an opportunity to discuss the problem confidentially and chat through how I may be able to help, with no obligation.

Booking
 

If we agree that my approach is right for you, we'll discuss a treatment plan and I'll ask you to book your first three sessions. I will email you my booking forms and a request for payment in advance for the first three weekly sessions via Paypal, and once payment has been received I'll call you to schedule the sessions. If we find that you do not need the full 3 sessions then I will refund you any overpayment straight after your last session with me.
 

Your Treatment

 

Your treatment will begin with an initial consultation session, which involves us both exploring the issue in greater detail, looking at all aspects of it -how the problem started, when it's worse or better, how it affects your life and exactly how you experience it. I gather a lot of detail from you in this first session and if time allows, we will begin treatment at this first session. Subsequent sessions will involve a combination of therapy techniques, coaching and hypnosis, and will be very collaborative in nature. I strongly believe that the more my clients involve themselves in their therapy, the faster and better the results tend to be!

Each session lasts between 60 - 90 minutes depending on the work we're doing. Some techniques require more time to bring about the changes we're looking for, so I offer this flexibility at no extra charge.

 

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

 

As a general guide I tend to see my clients for between 3-6 sessions, depending on the nature and complexity of the problem and the client's own pace of change. We're all different; for some of us change happens quickly, for others it needs a little more time. My aim is to help you to fully resolve your issue in the shortest time that's right for you so you can get on with your life. 

 

Payment

 

General hypnotherapy sessions are charged at £75 per session, and I ask for payment of your first three sessions on booking, via cheque, bank transfer or Paypal. 
Body Tonic clients can make payment via debit or credit card by calling reception on 01372 270790.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

I understand that sometimes it's necessary to cancel a session. If something unavoidable crops up, I ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice and you will not then need to pay for the missed session. Unfortunately because I won't have been able to offer that slot to another client, I will otherwise need to charge you for the cost of the session.
